Welcome to the 2021-2022 Collins Hill Band Registration! We are excited for this upcoming school year and the Collins Hill Band should be better than ever! The directors and Screamin’ Eagle Band Association (SEBA) have been working hard to make the return of both marching and concert band to normal this upcoming season. We are aware of the effects that COVID-19 has had on our community and our families. Even though we hope for a normal season the board has has continued to find ways to help parents.

Changes due to COVID-19
We recognize that COVID-19 has affected all of us. The directors and booster organization have done the following to help our families:

  • The band fees continue to remain lower than our PRE-COVID fees.
  • Spread out the monthly payments to make each month more financially viable for families.
  • Stronger initiatives in fundraising opportunities to help offset the costs of marching band. We will need a lot of student and family participation and help to ensure these are successful.
  • Open line of communication regarding funding/finances of the program and students. We are committed to finding a plan that works for you and your student to be able to participate.
  • Students with prior’s balances from the 2020-2021 school year need to have a payment plan in place with our treasurer prior to registering. You can do this at registration night or email chbandtreasurer@gmail.com.

This webpage will walk you through our registration process for all Marching and Concert Band students. The online portion of the Marching Band + Concert Band Registration will take between 20-30 minutes. Please gather the following items before you begin the application.

  • Parent/Guardian Contact Information
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Insurance Card
  • Medical Information (Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, etc.)
  • Personal Calendar – You will choose a Preferred Concessions Volunteer Date (2 options)
  • If you plan to pay online have your credit card or PayPal account ready. (First payment is due by April 30th)

The Concert Band ONLY Registration will take between 10-15 minutes and you will need the following:

  • Parent/Guardian Contact Information
  • If you plan to pay online have your credit card or PayPal account ready.

Marching Band / Color Guard Members

2021 Marching Band Member Fee – $900*  

1. Marching Registration Fee – $150 (due with Registration)
2. May Marching Pmt #2 – $150 (due by May 15th)
3. June Marching Pmt #3 – $150 (due by June 15th)
4. July Marching Pmt #4 – $150 (due by July 15th)
5. August Marching Pmt #5 – $150 (due by Aug 15th)
6. September Marching Pmt #6 – $150 (due by Sep 15th)

*If you have more than child in marching band the second child will recieve a $300 discount

*Past Due fees greater than 30 days may be subject to a $50 late fee
 Marching Band Member fee includes Concert Curriculum Fee required of all concert band students

MARCHING – Band Shoes – $45
COLOR GUARD – Warm Up Pants/Jacket/Duffle Bag – $115
COLOR GUARD – Colorguard Shoes – $40
COLOR GUARD – Gloves – $20
 OPTIONAL FOR ALL MEMBERS (MARCHING/COLOR GUARD):

MARCHING – Band Shoes – $45 (if needed)
COLOR GUARD – MakeUp – $35 (estimated)
COLOR GUARD – Personal Practice Rifle – $40
COLOR GUARD – Gloves – $20

Additional Items for Concert Players (as needed)

Concert Band Uniform – $100-$130 (Sept 2021)
District Band Auditions $30 (Sept. 2021)
All State Jazz Auditions $30 (Sept. 2021)
Jazz Band $50 (December 2021)
Yearly Locker Rental $5 (August 2021)

Instrument Rental Fee $30 Per Semester ($60 per year) – If Student Plays School Owned Instrument
