Welcome to the 2020-2021 Collins Hill Band Registration! We are excited for this upcoming school year and the Collins Hill Band should be better than ever! The directors and Screamin’ Eagle Band Association (SEBA) have been working hard to make both marching and concert band a reality this season. We are aware of the effects that COVID-19 has had on our community and our families.

Changes due to COVID-19
We recognize that COVID-19 has affected all of us. The directors and booster organization have done the following to help our families:

  • Lowered the total cost of marching band for the 2020 Fall season.
  • Spread out the monthly payments to make each month more financially viable for families.
    • Families are still able to pay more or shorten their payment timeline if they wish.
    • Earlier payments are also less allowing for people to make smaller up front payments.
  • Stronger initiatives in fundraising opportunities to help offset the costs of marching band.
    • We will need a lot of student and family participation and help to ensure these are successful.
  • Open line of communication regarding funding/finances of the program and students. We are committed to finding a plan that works for you and your student to be able to participate.
  • Forgive Final 2019-2020 Indoor Program Payments. Those that have paid the Final Payment will be credited ~50% to their escrow accounts to use for the upcoming marching band season.
  • Students with prior’s balances from the 2019-2020 School year may register for Marching Band!
    • Students that still owe for 2019-2020 Indoor Programs (Winter Guard & Indoor Drumline) and Concert Band Fees can continue to pay their 2019-2020 Fees through October 31, 2020.
    • Students that wish to participate in 2020-2021 Indoor Programs (Winter Guard & Indoor Drumline) must complete both their Indoor Fees from 2019-2020 AND their 2020-2021 Marching Fees.

This webpage will walk you through our registration process for all Marching and Concert Band students. The Marching Band + Concert Band Registration will take between 20-30 minutes. Please gather the following items before you begin the application.

  • Parent/Guardian Contact Information
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Insurance Card
  • Medical Information (Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, etc.)
  • Personal Calendar – You will choose a Preferred Concessions Volunteer Date (2 options)
  • If you plan to pay online have your credit card or PayPal account ready. (First payment is due by April 30th)

The Concert Band ONLY Registration will take between 10-15 minutes and you will need the following:

2. May Marching Pmt #2 – $100 ($125 if paid after May 15st)
3. June Marching Pmt #3 – $100 ($125 if paid after June 15th)
4. July Marching Pmt #4 – $125 ($150 if paid after July 15th)
5. August Marching Pmt #5 – $125 ($150 if after after Aug 15th)
6. August Marching Pmt #5 – $125 ($150 if paid after Sep 15th)
7. August Marching Pmt #5 – $125 ($150 if paid after Oct 15th)

Marching Band Member Fee – $800

1. Marching Registration Fee – $100 (Due by April 30th)

Color Guard Member Fee – $700

 * Marching Band Member fee includes Concert Curriculum Fee required of all band students  ** Guard who also play an instrument will need to additional register for concert band an pay an additional concert fee

Colorguard – MakeUp – $35 (estimated)
COLOR GUARD – Personal Practice Rifle – $40
COLOR GUARD – Gloves – $20
COLOR GUARD – Curriculum Fee (if participating in concert band) – $120

Additional Items for Concert Players

Concert Band Uniform – $100-$130 (Sept 2020)
District Band Auditions $30 (Sept. 2020)
All State Jazz Auditions $30 (Sept. 2020)
Jazz Band $50 (December 2020)
District Band Event Cost $40 (January 2021)

Instrument Rental Fee $30 Per Semester ($60 per year) – If Student Plays School Owned Instrument
Fundraising Obligation (Everyone) – $50 represents the 5 tickets that each member is required to sell/purchase for Taste of Collins Hill @ $10/each in February 2021. This fee is not included in the totals above.
